Typography, hierarchy, and design in context

DMD designs visual work where typography and composition carry the message. Explore the client pieces to see how each one is built, from the full layout down to the smallest detail.

Practice

Composition, context, and restraint

We want the work to read clearly, whether you’re seeing the full piece or one small detail. Each project starts with the hierarchy of the words and the structure of the page, so the typography leads and the design supports it.

The context matters as much as the composition. That’s where the design starts to make sense. We look at how a piece will be held, viewed, and read in its setting before anything is finalised.
